Staffordshire Wings was formed in 1992, although an informal region had been in existence for a few years before becoming
an official region of GWOCGB. Our region serves the Goldwing owners in the Staffordshire region, you may be surprised that
although Staffordshire is 'land locked' county in the centre of England that we have an adopted coastline in the form of members
who come from Southport near Merseyside!!
The region is based in Stoke-on-Trent, known as 'The Potteries' which is the centre of ceramic production in the UK,
famous manufacturers include Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Spode, Portmeirion and many more, situated in the very heart of England
mid-way between Manchester and Birmingham, about 40 miles to each.

membership is very active throughout the year, we attend the majority of Wing-Dings, and many Treffens run by the various
member clubs of GWEF (Goldwing European Federation), the word 'Treffen' translates as 'a meeting of friends',
sums up the Goldwing scene in the UK and Europe admirably.
